The Days of Noah
The title inspired by Scripture; Matthew 24:37. This is the second painting completed in support of a Biblical theme; "The fear of the Lord". Actually a good thing. Our post-modern society has once again completely forgotten this. The guy in the water can't swim, and has just been swept off the highest point available to him as the waters rise. The eight survivors, who "feared the Lord", are in the ark. How did they know?
Never intended to be a pretty picture, yet, a beautiful picture if one knows how to view it.

Mount Carmel
This is the first painting completed in support of "the fear of the Lord" theme. This is a much more popular image than the Noah painting, and it's not hard to understand why. Everybody likes the fire and the moment of "vengeance". But what was the Lord's purpose here? To show He honors His word, and to show the importance of recognizing who He is. There are many other implications of what occurred that day, of course, but these are just a couple primary ones.
